Meet Your 2016 Champion Bull Rider

If you were at the Saturday night performance of the NRA Finals Rodeo and saw the opening, the guy I’m about to introduce to you was one that comes from a long line of “Cowboys”.   Connor Murnion came into the finals in the driver’s seat.  He had a great year placing or winning 7 rodeos throughout the regular season.  The Jordan, MT cowboy just needed to keep doing what he had been doing all summer to hold off Boulder, MT cowboy Cody Wortman.  The first two rounds didn’t go as planned for Murnion.  Going into the 3rd and final round he had Wortman hot on his heels for the 2016 NRA Bull Riding title.  He had to ride his final bull to make sure Wortman couldn’t sneak up and take it from him.  Connor Murnion in fact not only rode his bull, but did it with a score of 80.5, the highest marked bull ride of the entire finals. This young up and coming bull rider is the 2016 Northern Rodeo Association Bull Riding Champion.  Congratulations Connor on your 2016 title and very accomplished year.
