Seeing what I mainly use for my blog being written here as part of a professional setup makes me feel great. I’m no pro myself, of course, but I have to agree with a lot of things here including picking a long-term niche and flavor. There are people who would think of 50 things to write about, but they all don’t have a common denominator to flourish more. And WordPress! I love the whole system and tool diversity.
