Colin Murnion rode Ed Grebe's "Matt" to a 73 on Saturday night at the 1983 NRA Finals Rodeo.  He was one of two cowboys to cover all three bulls and placed second in the average.  Murnion finished fifth in the 1983 standings.

Meet Your 2013 Junior Breakaway Roping and All-Around Champion

Culley Morgan came into the Northern Rodeo Association Finals leading the Junior Breakaway Roping by more than $1,000 and the Junior All-Around by a little more than $400.  With Shai McDonald hot on his tail in the race for the All-Around Culley needed to maintain the $400 lead. Shai won $424.08 at the finals just shy of what she needed to win if Culley hadn’t pulled a check. Culley, with the breakaway title already in hand, made a great run of 2.2 winning the first round of the breakaway to put a little spending cash in his pocket and keep the All-Around lead.  Round 2 did not go as planned but the Billings cowboy still managed to get a check out of the average.  With that he won the NRA Junior All-Around & Junior Breakaway titles.  Congratulations Culley!
